Email outreach is dead
You may have heard this term used before, especially in this day and age ‘Email outreach is dead’.
The truth is, it’s kind of true.
Not like you might think though.
So let me explain.
How to email outreach properly
I have used many different outreach methods (I still do) to try and sign clients up. Doing content creation and digital marketing on the side has allowed me to experiment with various outreach methods.
In the beginning I wouldn’t have said email outreach was going to be a big part of my outreach strategy. This was down to the fact I spoke to too many colleagues and friends who never really had much faith in it.
In the past I used to blind copy a load of random company email addresses into a very impersonal email and hit send. This was totally the wrong way to do any sort of outreach, never mind email outreach.
I used to never get any replies (I wonder why), which would get me down and demotivated to try again.
This would continue on for years right until I found a method which has dramatically improved my email outreach strategy.
The secret weapon
Finally I found my answer to email outreach done properly…..
GMass is an email outreach software that allows you to send personal emails to hundreds of addresses at a time.
But how can you make hundreds of emails seem personal all at once?
Let me show you……
Making sense of it all
Before explaining how it all works I do have to mention that GMass isn’t a free software, but that shouldn’t put you off. In fact, it should give you more confidence in its ability to deliver results.
I have the premium version which is £19.95 a month and I can honestly tell you it is well worth it.
Anyway back to the good stuff.
Once GMass is downloaded you’re going to want to make sure you have a GMail account, as this is what GMass integrates with.
Now that it is downloaded and paid for, you can start your mass email outreach campaign.
When sending mass emails out like this, you’re more than likely going to have a lead database. If so, make sure that it is in a google sheet format and if it isn’t, then you’re going to have to cut and paste all the information over.
This will make more sense further down.
The information from your google sheets will be extracted and GMass will allow it to be used for email campaigns.
You can have more information on your leads database, but take note of the three shown in the above example as these will be crucial for making the emails that bit more personal.
Click the icon shown in the picture below to connect to your google sheets.
Now select the appropriate sheet. Example 1 in the case.
Now that you’re all connected you can start to build your email strategy.
The picture below shows my gmail account but with the added GMass button shown by the arrow.
Click the down arrow on the side of the button, DO NOT hit the GMass button until you are ready to send out the email
There are two main sections of this menu you’re going to want to focus on and that’s the follow up and personalize section.
The personalize section will give you options based on what information is on your google sheets.
In the case of our example it should give us three options.
- First Name
- Business name
Select first name and paste it into your original email (it copies automatically.
See example email below.
Select the GMass button and you’re done. Your email is now fully personalised and can be sent out to hundreds of people.
If you want to add follow up emails then before you hit that button go back and select the follow up menu.
It’s pretty intuitive so no need for much explanation.
Disclaimer
I’m not saying that GMass will solve all your problems and that you will have more clients than you know what to do with.
What I am saying though is that this will save you so much valuable time and energy, and is a great tool to add to your outreach arsenal.
Now go out there and try it for yourself.
Click here to start using GMass. There is an affiliate link here but if you don’t want to use it that’s totally fine.
Just head over to GMass yourselves and get started.
